These terms and conditions govern the provision of counselling services by Grounded Path Counselling ("I", "me", "my"). By booking a session, you agree to these terms.
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and are held either in person in Coventry or online via a secure video platform. Sessions are offered on a weekly basis, though frequency can be discussed and agreed between us.
Fees are agreed prior to the commencement of counselling. Payment is due prior to or on the day of each session by bank transfer. Fees are reviewed periodically and you will be given reasonable notice of any changes.
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged at the full rate. I understand that emergencies happen and will always try to be flexible where possible.
Everything discussed in sessions is held in strict confidence in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. Exceptions to confidentiality are explained during the initial session and are limited to situations involving serious risk to you or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
You are free to end counselling at any time. Where possible, I ask that we have at least one ending session to bring our work to a close in a considered way. I reserve the right to end or refer on our work if I believe it is in your best interests to do so.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I receive regular clinical supervision as required by professional guidelines.
