My approach
I work in an integrative, trauma-informed way, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to create a space that genuinely feels right for you, whether we meet in Coventry or online.
"Therapy isn't about being fixed, it's about being truly heard, and finding your own way forward."
Everything I do is grounded in deep respect for you as an individual. I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can explore freely, without pressure or agenda.
Rather than following a single rigid model, I draw from evidence-based approaches including person-centred therapy, psychodynamic thinking and somatic awareness, tailored to your unique needs. I also weave creativity into our sessions where it feels helpful, using expressive and imaginative techniques to open up new ways of exploring your inner world.
Many difficulties we face have roots in past experiences. I work at a pace that feels safe for you, always prioritising your sense of control and emotional wellbeing throughout our sessions.
I welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, identities and neurotypes. As a British Asian counsellor and BAATN Practitioner Member, I understand how culture, identity and lived experience shape who we are. I bring cultural sensitivity and an anti-oppressive approach to every session, so you can feel genuinely seen and understood.
Everything shared in our sessions stays between us. A private, secure space is the foundation of good counselling.
There is no rush. We move at whatever pace feels right for you, sessions are shaped around your needs, not a fixed agenda.
We work together. I bring knowledge and care; you bring your story. Together we find a way forward that feels meaningful to you.
Sessions are available online across the UK and face to face in Coventry, whichever feels most comfortable for you.
